About the PTA
What Does the PTA Do?
A Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a school-based organization where volunteer parents, teachers, and other school staff collaborate to improve students' education and school community.
The Birney PTA:
- Hosts fundraisers to raise money for events and academic programming.
- Collaborates with school staff to coordinate volunteers for Birney events.
- Facilitates school events such as movie nights, school carnivals, field trip buses, teacher appreciation, etc.
